Activity Blocks:

Swimming Activities (and Boating) may include: sun bathing, lessons, free swim, races, games. Boating may include: paddle-boats, canoes, pontoon rides, fishing, canoe skills test, trips to lake swimming holes and beaches.

Court Activities may include: basketball, four-square, tether-ball, arts & crafts, etc.

Field Activities may include: softball, volleyball, capture the flag, land navigation, nature hikes, Frisbee golf, ultimate Frisbee, soccer, etc.

Bonfire Activities may be casual or programmed and may include: casual conversation, sharing the day's events, bonfire stories, songs, skits, snacks, hayrides.

At Camp Webster we can change programs according to the weather as well as the camper's needs. Below are some additional camping programs:

Team building
With the help of  physical obstacles, campers will learn to overcome obstructions not only as a group but also over come some fears for themselves. They will learn how to work as a group and how to trust people that they just met. They will learn strategies how to cope with difficult situations and people.


Outdoor living
Setting up an outdoor camp; outdoor fire cooking with and without utensils; map and compass navigation; camp sanitation; outdoor survival.

Nature Walks
Animal signs, animal identification, tracking, bird watching, plants, edible plants.

Animal Tracking
Identification of animals by the tracks that they leave.

Star Gazing
With the help of star maps and the local astronomy group, campers will search the night sky.

Night hikes
At night a whole new world opens up where campers will see different animals, use senses they never knew they had.

Mealtime Programming
Meals are not only a time to eat and refresh it is also part of the program.

Campfires
Some nights might end with a campfire where we will sing songs, have some skits and maybe a story at the end. Occasionally, campfires may let campers show off their talent and get up and do songs or maybe a skit.
